FYR is LIT: LIFEHACKS II
Fall 2021
Community Cafe for Contract Day is the fall 2021 LIFEHACKS Series. Teens will participate in workshops ranging from creative public speaking, cross-cultural and generational communication, community canvassing and organizing, and strategic planning. Workshops will be skills-based and experiential in nature to ensure the human experience is the priority.
FYR is LIT: LIFEHACKS I
Summer 2020
Teens from Denver and Saint Croix met online to discuss issues they were facing during the unprecedented times in the summer of 2020. They worked with guest artists curated by Directing Artist, Chuk Obasi and visiting professor Dr. Julio Cammaroto facilitated an exploratory discussion using Youth Participatory Action Research methods to help participants arrive at their final call to action where: EVERYONE HAS A SEAT AT THE TABLE!

FYR is LIT
Summer 2019
Teens from Denver and Saint Croix hosted a two week literacy enrichment program for second graders from Claude O'Markoe School. The program was centered around learning about how to preserve the environment. All participants, second graders and high school students wrote and performed monologues at the closing ceremony.
