Partnership with Vicker's Street Boys and Girls Club, Denver

 

During the winter of 2019 six LIT Leaders from Denver School of Science and Technology: Stapleton (now DSST: Montview) served members of the Vicker's Street Boys and Girls Club of Metro Denver for a six-week reading intervention, poetry immersion, and leadership program.  LIT Leaders from Saint Croix joined the team for one session in February.  The six-week session concluded with a workshop hosted by a poet from the Lighthouse.
